School Budget Vote on April 2
The member towns of the Mt. Mansfield Unified Union School District (MMUUSD) will hold an election on April 2, 2024 to vote on the revised 2024-2025 budget and School District Officers. Huntington polls will be open on that day 6:30 am to 7 pm at Brewster-Pierce School. Voters are to come into the building through the main door and vote in the gym.

DOG REGISTRATION: Now is the time to get your canine family members registered. Dog licenses for 2024 are now available from the Town Clerk. Click here for an application. By Vermont law, all dogs must be registered with the Town Clerk of the town in which the dog resides, which includes a copy of the certificate showing that rabies vaccination is current, on or before April 1. The price for all dogs is $13. On April 2, the price goes up and a fine may be imposed.

The green reflective signs with your 9-1-1 address are available at the Huntington Town Clerk’s Office. The cost is $10 and they are made to order. The proceeds from the sale of these signs go directly to Huntington First Response/Fire Department.
